TV PSYCHIC and paranormal medium Derek Acorah, entertained crowds at a spooky Hallowe’en event held by Wilkinson, in Mildenhall.

The star of television show Most Haunted dropped into the store’s Hallowe’en event to present the lucky winner of a tombola with their prize, before signing autographs and posing for photos.

Montana McCoy, store manager at Wilkinson, said: “The store was all ghosts and ghouls at the Hallowe’en-themed event.

“Derek certainly was a real crowd-pleaser and helped everyone get into the celebratory spirit.

“I’d like to thank Derek for coming along and helping us - I can safely say we’re an orb free store!”

The event was held by team members, dressed in their scariest costumes, to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The charity has been adopted by the Mildenhall store, which has raised £1,550 to date.

Paul Dunnett, account manager at the Motor Neurone Disease Association, said: “The event was a great success and we could not be more pleased with the store’s efforts as it has really helped raise the profile of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.”
