No Caption ABCDE
Young sports enthusiasts were awarded with certificates and t-shirts after graduating from a unique schools initiative.
Nineteen pupils from Westley, Hardwick, St Louis and St James Middle Schools completed the eight week No Limits Sports Academy, which supports promising young people showing commitment in a range of sports.
It was set up by King Edward VI School, which also saw five students graduate and 10 act as mentors, focusing on areas such as reactions and target setting with guest instructors. Pupils also received a CD of their journey during a presentation by Matt Eddison, Bury Rugby Club First Team Captain.
King Edward VI is preparing to run a Primary School Academy in the summer. Contact James Sturgeon on 01284 761393.
