The Jubilee spirit continues in Thetford and will live on for years to come after six London Plane trees were planted to mark the occasion.

The trees were planted near to the Nun’s Bridges.

A plaque to mark the occasion was unveiled last Thursday by Chris Kennard, from the Shadwell Estate, and Terry Lamb, mayor of Thetford.

The trees were supplied free of charge by Barcham Trees of Ely.
