Social media and PR agency expands

A social media and public relations agency which only launched a year ago, is proving so successful that it has expanded its team.
Laura Welham-Halstead set up Propono PR in Bury St Edmunds after a decade of working in the industry.
Since then the business has attracted a growing list of local and national clients including Blue Arrow Recruitment, the Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Enterprise Partnership, River Stour Trust, Ickworth Vineyard and C&B Beautiful to name a few.
Now Laura has taken on Nicki Ramsbottom as an account executive.
“Nicki is a fantastic addition to our team bringing with her in-depth experience of running a range of digital and traditional marketing campaigns across the Eastern Region,” said Laura.
“A self-confessed geek and super organiser, Nicki will fit in very well here.”
Nicki previously worked as digital marketing manager at leading East Anglian law firm Birketts LLP and will work part time at Propono, while also working as a lecturer at West Suffolk College in Bury.
“I have always wanted to work within an agency, and after agreeing to lecture at the college, it was ever more important to me that I found a challenging role within the industry to keep my knowledge and skills up-to-date,” said Nicki.
