Series of Lakenheath burglaries linked by police

A series of burglaries in Lakenheath at the beginning of this week, have led to a police appeal for information.

Police suspect that three burglaries, which took place between midday on Sunday and 8am on Monday, are linked.

Food was stolen from an insecure garage outside a residential property in Wings Road, between midday on Sunday and 8am on Monday.

Between midnight and 12.30am on Monday a woman was disturbed by a knocking on her front door, in Anchor Lane, however when she answered nobody was there. The following day damage was found to the door and window of the property where offenders had attempted to force energy.

In a third incident cash was stolen from a property in Wings Road after it was searched at 1.30am on Monday.
