Sam wins litter poster prize
Sam Hart from Bosmere Primary School in Needham Market has won a competition to design an anti-litter campaign poster
BOSMERE Primary School pupil Sam Hart wanted to send out the message ‘Don’t be a critter...take home your litter’ with his winning poster for a litter awareness campaign.
For the third year running, primary school children across Mid Suffolk were invited to design posters to promote the importance of picking up litter and not leaving it on the A12 or A14. Sam’s winning poster has been reproduced on the side of a van that clears the two main roads of litter – in the hope that litterbugs will follow its message.
Cllr Roy Barker, portfolio holder for environment at Mid Suffolk, said: “All the entries we received this year were fantastic.
“It was really difficult to pick a winner but Sam’s poster really stood out.”
