CHILDREN who decorated a wall hanging to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in June have received a thank you letter from Buckingham Palace.

Youngsters who attended the Jubilee celebrations at Aspal Close Nature Reserve decorated squares of cotton with Jubilee drawings that joined together to make a wall hanging.

This was then sent to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as a gift to celebrate her 60-year reign.
