Residents asked their views on Barrow and Denham

Residents of Barrow and Denham will be asked what they like, dislike, and would like to see improved in their villages.

The views will then be collated to form a plan for the villages’ future.

Whether you’re concerned about flooding, development, shops or transport the Barrow cum Denham parish plan steering group would like to hear about it.

A postcard with four questions has been sent to every household in the two villages and the group has had a 47 per cent response rate.

The initial round of questioning will conclude with two drop-in events at Barrow Village Hall on October 21 between 10am and 4pm and October 23 between 9am and 8pm

The group will then collate the initial findings before applying for national lottery funding to conduct a full survey next summer.

The project will conclude at Christmas 2013 with the formation of an action plan for the villages’ future, which will be used to guide local authorities to act in the villages’ best interests.
