Reserve opens unseen area

A NATURE-RICH area which is usually off-limits will be open to the public for a one-off walk.

RSPB Lakenheath Fen is allowing walkers to visit the Botany Bay area of the site, on the further reaches of the fen.

The 10km walk will take place on Tuesday, July 31, from 9.30am to 3pm

David White, information officer, said: “It is only when you do this walk that you fully appreciate the size of Lakenheath Fen.”

Entry is £10 for adults and £5 for children.

To book, ring 01842 863400 or email lakenheath@rspb.org.uk
