Raffle for little Zac’s physio

A COUPLE whose 22-month-old son suffers from a rare metabolic disorder are looking for raffle prizes to raise funds for their little boy’s physiotherapy.

James Cox, 29, and Lauren Critchfield, 25, from Cedars Park, in Stowmarket, need to pay £500 every six weeks so their son Zac can receive the therapy he needs.

Zac was born with multiple acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency (Madd), a condition which stops the body from breaking down fats.

He was left partially blind and suffered brain damage during the first days of his life and needs physiotherapy to help his mobility.

But James said the costs were getting to much.

He said: “At the moment we have funded his physio all ourselves but it is going to be a long process.

“The progress he has made in the last few months with help from the physio is huge. We want to raise money so he can go every week.”

James and Lauren are planning a fun day on November 17.

To donate raffle prizes for the day email laurencritchfield@hotmail.co.uk
