TWO school pupils have made a lasting impression on their community after designing a logo for a newsletter.

Tyler Walton, seven, and Grace Taylor-Balls, nine, won an art competition at West Row Primary to create the icon for the publication.

The West Row newsletter will be launched in September after receiving £300 from the locality budgets of Cllr James Waters, leader of Forest Heath District Council, and Cllr David Bowman.

Chairman Lynn Morley said: “I feel really proud of the community spirit and the overwhelming support with helping to set this up and make it possible.”
