Public performance of St Edmund's song with artist Ned Pamphilon

People are being encouraged to join in the launch of the St Edmund song, My Name is Edmund, recorded by children from St Edmunds Primary School, in Bury St Edmunds.

On Sunday, artist Ned Pamphilon is launching a CD he has made with pupils to raise the profile of St Edmund and will be recording a live performance of the song.

He is hoping that members of St Edmundsbury Male Voice Choir, the Mead Singers and St Edmundsbury borough mayor will be present for the event.

The singalong came about after Ned held a painting session with children during their music week.

All this week he has been painting at Cornhill Walk, where the recording will take place at 1pm.
