A NEW owner has been found for a pub that was put on the market in February.

Mortgage brokers Christie Finance announced on Wednesday that The Crown, in Crown Street, Brandon, had been bought by the Dhadra family.

Christie Finance sourced the funding for the pub and Nicholas Baker, director, said the move showed pubs were still being backed by banks.

The Dhadra family have run a number of food outlets, including several Indian restaurants.
