Property maintenance firm in Bury St Edmunds grows as Kevin takes over from the Painted Ladies

Kevin Abbott has dramatically increased the customer base at his property maintenance firm, after taking over the Painted Ladies.
Now Mr Abbott, who bought the existing contracts and customer bases of the ‘Ladies’ in the summer, is aiming to take on his first apprentice next year.
“It is exactly how I started out, as an apprentice, and it would be nice to pass the skills on,” Mr Abbott said.
Mr Abbott has been running his own property maintenance firm, trading as KM Abbott, in Bury St Edmunds for the past five years.
Now he is in the midst of rebranding his business as KMA Property Maintenance. He has had new shirts made up, and will soon be rebranding his van and launching a new website.
“It is quite exciting times,” Mr Abbott said.
“I have taken on a list of 350 repeat business clients from The Painted Ladies.
“Over the last three to four months, most of my work has been ex-Painted Ladies clients.It has definitely paid dividends.”
