Police charge men over Thetford rave
Eleven men have been charged in connection with a rave in King's Forest, Thetford.
Michael Hodges, 19, of Finborough Road, in Stowmarket, has been charged with conspiracy to organise the unauthorised licensable event which took place on July 15, 2007.
Joshua Barrington-Lee, 22, of Canterbury Close, in Ipswich, has also been charged with conspiracy to organise the rave as well as possession of MDMA, cocaine and ketamine.
A further nine men have been charged with committing violent disorder, including Peter Stokes, 29, of Ipswich Street, in Bury St Edmunds, Luke Parker, 25, of Norwich Road, in Brockford, and Craig Kirtley, 23, of Verneuil Avenue, in Stowmarket.
All of the men are due to appear at Bury Magistrates on March 25.
Around 100 officers from Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex were involved in breaking up the event, attended by around 1,000 people.
