Three heads are better than one for Thetford town centre as a new crack police unit launches.

Sgt Steve Burke, Pc Keith Kenny and PCSO Sharon Caws make up a dedicated policing team for the town centre, providing a direct link with businesses and a visible presence for the public.

The team will focus on issues such as anti-social behaviour, alcohol misuse, littering and dog-fouling.

Sgt Burke said: “All of us live and work in Thetford and have been based here for a number of years, so we have a real enthusiasm and vested interest in the town centre.”
