Police name woman killed at Brighton Speed Trials
THE WOMAN who died at Brighton Speed Trials is believed to be Charlotte Tagg, police have said.
The 38-year-old from Beck Row was killed after the motorbike she was a passenger in hit a wall during the event on Saturday September 8.
The woman was in the sidecar of a black Honda Asco motorbike driven by a 63-year-old man from London who suffered serious injuries and is in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
Sergeant Huw Watts of Sussex Police’s Road Policing Unit said: “Although formal identification has not yet taken place we believe that the woman who tragically died at the Brighton Speed Trials is Charlotte. Our thoughts are with her friends and family at this time.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 asking for Sussex Police and quoting Operation Marsden.
