Play area due for makeover

A PLAY area in Stowmarket is due for a £30,000 makeover in the next few weeks.

Glemsford Road play area was identified by Stowmarket Town Council to be in poor condition and in urgent need of an overhaul.

The play area, next to Combs Ford Primary School, is well used by pupils of the nearby school.

The town council recently consulted with children from the school to select a preferred design for the site.

Work is due to start on the revamp in November.
