Plans for former Bury St Edmunds bank to become a restaurant

Bidwells estate agents are hopeful that some of the empty shops in Bury St Edmunds could soon come back into use.

They are hoping to gainplanning permission on behalf of a restaurant for the former Barclays Bank site in Abbeygate Street, are in talks with a business about the Hawkins Bazaar site, and are waiting for planning permission to market the former Officers Club as a restaurant/ pub.
