Paintings brighten up Cornhill Walk Shopping Centre

Artist Ned Pamphilon has been enchanting shoppers at Cornhill Walk Shopping Centre, in Bury St Edmunds, with his paintings.

During his stint painting at the centre, he has been working on a portrait of St Edmund and a cartoon view of the town,

including the Angel Hotel, sugar beet factory and Bury Free Press offices, Moyse's Hall Museum and the Nutshell pub.

The scenery of Cornhill Walk makes a change for Ned, who spent the past 10 years living and painting in Turkey, before returning to England four months ago.

While living abroad, Ned had work displayed in the renowned Grand Bazaar, in Istanbul.
