New landlords aim to cater for everyone

The Fox Inn, in Ousden, is in the hands of an awar-winning family who have taken over with plans 'to do things that little bit different.'

Anthony and Barbara Marshall have returned to Bury, the town where their six-year-old daughter was born, after running a Dorset pub that won awards for customer service among other accolades. Customers can look forward to murder mystery nights, monthly quizzes and Hallowe'en fun, and those with special needs will be well catered for. The menu will be available in braille, large print and audio, while diabetics are considered and 75 per cent of the food will be suitable for coeliacs. There is also special cutlery for people with limited mobility.

"This is stuff that most people overlook but we don't, we try hard to do everything to a very high standard. Our food's good honest English food, all locally sourced," said Anthony.
