New mayor of St Edmundsbury is named as Terry Buckle of Moreton Hall

Terry Buckle has been named as the next mayor of St Edmundsbury Borough.

The announcement was made at full council on Tuesday evening.

Cllr Buckle who represents Moreton Hall stepped in to be deputy mayor 2011/12 after Cllr Ian Houlder was unable to take on the duty.

Cllr Buckle will become mayor in May.
