Astronomy Club has launched at Great Whelnetham Primary School.

A parent is helping children reach for the stars after launching an astronomy club at a village school.

Amy Bull shines a light on the mysteries of the universe including the order of the planets, star gazing and space stations at the Great Whelnetham Primary club.

She has been an astronomy enthusiast since childhood.

Mrs Bull, of Great Whelnetham, said: “I wanted to do something voluntary and give something back to the school. The kids have really taken to it.” The club has 10 members including her son Alex.
