National award for the centre?

Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre has made it to the finals of the national Fitness Industry Association’s Flame Awards for the third year in a row.

The centre, run by Everyone Active in partnership with Mid Suffolk District Council, is one of only six in the UK to be shortlisted.

Manager Anselm Gurney said: “It is a fantastic achievement for the centre to have got through to the finals on three successive years and demonstrates that we consistently provide a very high quality of service.”

The winner will be announced on June 27.
