Music for awareness
An informal evening of music at a Bury St Edmunds church is set to raise awareness of an illness.
The evening of music is organised by the friends and colleagues of Lynn Bond, of Haverhill, who was diagnosed with the crippling disease dystonia last year.
It is hoped A Concert for Lynn will raise awareness of the neurological movement disorder, which affects more than 40,000 people across the UK, and funds for The Dystonia Society.
It is on Saturday, July 11, at 7pm at St Mary's Church, in Crown Street. Admission is free but there will be a retiring collection and refreshments will be available.
