More talks planned on Cupola House

Bury St Edmunds historian Pat Murrell is planning to give more talks on Cupola House, an iconic building which was devastated by fire in June last year.

On February 16, Dr Murrell’s talk on Cupola House: From Macro to Romaine will give a brief history of the property, beginning with its original owners and builders and ending with its major restoration in 2003.

On March 16, her Cupola House: A Visual Feast lecture will offer a rare chance to see a wide range of illustrations of the building. She has selected views of, around, in and from Cupola House.

Dr Murrell has been closely associated with researching the house and its inhabitants for many years.

Both talks will take place at the Bury Record Office at 10am.
