Mission Possible in health and safety course
Walsham le Willows pupils are dressing up to investigate health and safety as part of an initiative known as 'Mission Possible'. Angel Whitbread, Danny Bradshaw-Plummer and Max Smith.
Youngsters at a village school were given a licence to kill ... bacteria as part of a food health and safety course.
Children, aged seven to nine, at Walsham-le-Willows Primary were given briefcases to investigate hygiene within their kitchens at home.
The course, dubbed Mission Possible, is offered by Suffolk County Council.
The work aims to get them to think about how to stop bacteria spreading. In class they also looked at different food samples and used microscopes.
Alison Pollard, key stage two teacher, said: “It develops their investigative skills and approaches,”
