Missing Basildon man found in Suffolk

Police have thanked the public after a man who went missing in Essex was found in Suffolk.

Essex police appealed for help after Tony Stevenson went missing from his home in Southwark Path, Basildon, on Tuesday. His black Ford Fiesta activated an automatic numberplate recognition camera on the A12 into Suffolk just after 6.25pm on Thursday, so Suffolk police joined the appeal on Friday.

Mr Stevenson was found in Ipswich over the weekend.
