One of the UK’s leading suppliers of sterile procedure packs and disposable medical instruments has won a major contract to supply the NHS.

Bury St Edmunds based Disposable Medical Instruments (DMI) has secured a three year contract to provide the NHS Supply Chain with its full range of single-use products.

The company had had to go through an intensive tender process.

DMI products will now be available for NHS Hospitals to buy through the supply chain organisation.

Managing director and founder of DMI Patrick Chaney said: “The tender process is rigorous, in accordance with European law, and we feel acceptance by NHS Supply Chain is an endorsement of our products and competitive pricing.”
