Stowmarket Town Mayor Councillor Mrs Anne Whybrow opened the new Dominos pizza

Stowmarket Mayor Anne Whybrow visited the new Domino’s Pizza on Wednesday to celebrate its opening.

The store in Ipswich Street, which opened on Monday, will create more than 25 jobs for the town.

Mayor Whybrow said: “I just think it is good to see some of the national, and in this case international, businesses setting up shop in Stowmarket and wanting to be part of our growing town and growing economy.

“On our tour we saw how all the pizzas are made. My 89-year-old mother was fascinated.

“When she found out they could be delivered she said it will make a nice change from meals on wheels.”
