Man required stitches after possible road rage attack

A man required stitches after being punched in the side of the face by a stranger, who had driven him to Mildenhall town centre.

The 35-year-old man had accepted a lift from the stranger to the town centre and was dropped off outside the fire station, in North Place.

It is alleged the driver then pulled over nearby and got out of his silver saloon car, proceeding to punch the victim multiple times.

Police have said the attack may have been motivated by road rage.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which is alleged to have taken place about 7pm on November 21.

Calls can be made to PC Rebecca Taylor on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
