A MAN has pleaded guilty to involvement in the robbery of a pensioner.

The incident took place in Kingsway, Mildenhall, on the evening of March 10 where the 76-year-old victim, who at the time was recovering from a stroke, was walking.

She suffered a fractured arm, head and facial injuries as her handbag was grabbed.

On June 1, Sean Woods, 21, of Girton Close, Mildenhall, pleaded guilty to an offence of robbery at Ipswich Crown Court.

Two other men charged with the same offence, Derek McCray, 22, of Heath Road, Brandon and Bjorn Grahn, 20, of Riverside Close, Mildenhall, did not enter pleas.

All three were remanded in custody until their next court appearance.
