Man freed after road collision

A man had to be freed from his car by fire fighters after a road collision in Brandon.

Three crews were called to Green Road at around 11.45pm last night to reports of an incident involving two cars.

A man was trapped in one of the vehicles, with police and ambulance being called to attend.

The man was freed by 12.30am and the crews were detained for a short while, before returning to home station by 12.50am.
