Man charged after A11 crash
A man has been charged with four offences after a crash which left three people hurt.
Martynaz Lenkauskas, 26, of Woodlands Drive, Thetford, has been charged with careless driving, possession of cocaine, failing to provide a specimen of breath of at the roadside and failing to provide a specimen of breath in custody after an incident on the A11 on Saturday.
The collision saw a blue Audi A4 leave the road and flip over into trees at around 3.45am.
A female passenger was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with a serious arm injury, while two further passengers were taken to West Suffolk Hospital.
A fourth passenger was treated at the roadside.
Lenkauskas was arrested at the scene and will appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on December 27.
