Man appears in court following stabbing

A MAN has appeared in court today following a serious assault in Stowmarket on Tuesday.

Alexander Buckle, 22, from Kent Road, Stowmarket, appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

He was committed to Ipswich Crown Court to appear on October 2 and was remanded in custody until that date.

An incident happened in Windermere Road at around 8pm on Tuesday September 18 where a 22-year-old man sustained stab wounds to his upper body.
