Liquid handling specialist in Bury St Edmunds announces new chairman

Liquid handling technology specialists Redd&Whyte has announced the appointment of Peter McCulloch MBE as a non-executive chairman.

The Bury St Edmunds company says the move is part of its restructuring progamme to expand its customer base in Europe and North Amercia.

The firm makes innovative instruments for lab scientists.

Mr McCulloch, who was awarded the MBE in 1993 for sevices to the UK Biomedical Industy, brings 40 years of industry experience.

“Peter’s vast experience within the industry will add great value to Redd&Whyte and our future vision,” said managing director Roger Poole.

“Peter joins us at a crucial time as the company is undergoing significant and exciting structual change.”

He previously worked in specialised liquid handling and laboratory automation companies and was chief executive at Zenyx Scientific Ltd and Diagnostic Innovations Ltd.
