Kilimanjaro trek by estate agent director from Bury St Edmunds raises money for children’s hospices

A Kilimanjaro trek by Claire Simpson Duckworth, a Director at Sheridans Estate Agents in Bury St Edmunds has raised £2,385 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

She took part in the trek with another Bury company, The Severest Group, to take part in the Trek last month.

“The final summit night was physically and mentally the hardest thing I have ever done, we started at midnight and reached Gilmans Point (5821 metres) at dawn, then we carried on and reached Uhuru Peak at the summit of Kilimanjaro (5895 metres) at 9:00am.

The team from Servest that I did the Trek with were absolutely fantastic, we all encouraged each other every step of the way, and without them I would never have made it,” said Claire.

She took part in the trek as part of the celebrations of Sheridans ten year anniversary.
