Karen’s Rubbish diet puts her in the final

Karen Cannard is celebrating becoming a semi finalist in the �50,000 Waste Reduction Challenge Prize which recognises innovative ideas. Karem began her recycling initiative with her Rubbish Diet blog which has gathered great momentum.

Karen Cannard’s Rubbish Diet has secured her a place among six finalists, who are competing for a Waste Reduction Challenge Prize, run by Nesta.

As a finalist, the Bury St Edmunds Zero Waste campaigner will receive up to £10,000 to set up and test her project. The winner will be selected in November and awarded £50,000.
