Jake and Bonnie qualify for Crufts
Jake Coles has qualified for this years Crufts.
Stowmarket teenager Jake Coles is competing in the world’s greatest dog show - Crufts - on March 7.
Jake, 14, is hoping to be among the rosettes in the Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the Year category.
The Stowupland High School student has entered the competition with his friend’s dog Bonnie, a three-year-old border collie cross spaniel who was rescued as a pup by her owner Val White. Jake qualified in August by winning at the Dogs In Need Agility Society competition at Trinity Park in Ipswich.
Jake said he was looking forward to getting into the ring and giving his best.
He said: “Both me and Bonnie really enjoy it.
“You start off learning the basic things like sit and wait and then move on to the harder jumps. I love everything about it.”
