Bury three-piece Jacob’s Mouse are re-releasing some of their under-rated, boundary pushing music.

The band, made up of identical twins Hugo and Jebb Boothby on guitar and bass and singing drummer Sam Marsh, formed during the late 1980s. Their first album, No Fish Shop Parking hit the record shops in 1991 on the band’s own Blittering Idiot label. The album was a critical success and led to high profile support slots with big bands of the day including Nirvana, Suede and Manic Street Preachers. They made numerous festival appearances, gained support and patronage by Radio One’s John Peel and secured a record contract with London-based Wiija records, which brought bands such as Therapy? and Cornershop to the public’s attention.The band’s debut EP, The Dot EP, and No Fish Shop Parking will be released worldwide on Monday, March 4, on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon through Bury-based Sturm and Drang Recordings.
