It was Strictly good fun when Craig taught the cha cha cha

A little bit of the glamorous world of ballroom dancing came to St Louis' Middle School, in Bury St Edmunds, last week.

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood visited the school to lead a dance workshop and take part in a special school assembly after a group from the school won a national drama and dance competition earlier this year.

But it was not all sequins, fancy footwork and the cha cha cha, as Craig was also at the school to stress the importance of exercise for bone health.

The Bone Factor Tour of six winning schools around the country, organised by the National Osteoporosis Society, aimed to teach children how to boogie for their bones.

Craig, who is known for his cutting comments on the Saturday night BBC show, said: "I give them (the pupils) 10 out of 10 for enthusiasm, dancing skills and getting up and having a bash at it."

He added that they were all better than 'the John Sergeants and Fiona Philips' of the world', before saying his tips for taking this year's Strictly Come Dancing top prize were Ricky Whittle, Ali Bastion and Zoe Lucker.
