Inquest opens

AN INQUEST has been opened and adjourned into the death of a 15-year-old girl.

Lily Webster, of Weavers Close, Stowmarket, was pronounced dead at the gym in Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre at 3.50pm on January 16.

The Year 11 Stowmarket High School student had been taking part in a PE lesson at the time.

The inquest was opened on Friday at the Coroner’s Office at Bury St Edmunds Police Station, in Raingate Street.
