Waiting for Video...

Hundreds of people donned fairy costumes in Bury St Edmunds town centre last night in a bid to break a world record attempt in aid of charity.

The event organised by Bid4Bury aimed to attract almost 800 people in Charter Square to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

With 412 people, they missed out on the record but it was the second highest gathering of fairies ever.

The above video shows the crowds enjoying the evening.
