A Suffolk Housing manager has been shortlisted as a finalist in a prestigious national competition to find the “young leader of the future”.

Acting housing services manager Rob Longfoot, 26, made the final five in the 24housing competition ahead of 100 other entrants. Rob, who lives near Bury St Edmunds and joined Suffolk Housing as a trainee in 2006, was nominated for the award

by colleagues.

They described him as “committed to professional and personal development”, saying: “Rob is someone who always has time to help or give advice.
