A RARE glimpse inside buildings not usually open to the public will be on offer during West Suffolk’s annual Heritage Open Days.

From September 6 to 9, there is a chance to climb the Norman Tower in Bury St Edmunds and enjoy tours of the town’s fire station.

There will be a guided walk around Bury to learn about the people commemorated by the new blue plaques and a chance to visit West Stow Hall. Contact the Tourist Information Centre on 01284 764667 for more details.
