Growing print company up for national award
Kall Kwik Bury St Edmunds
A PRINTING franchise which specialises in marketing and promotional material has been shortlisted for a national award.
The Bury St Edmunds franchise of Kall Kwik expanded into bigger premises in Eastern Way earlier this year after 20 years on Angel Hill.
Now it has been shortlisted for The British Association for Print (BAPC) and Communication business of the year award.
Stewart Green, managing director of Kall Kwik in Bury, said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for the award.
“It recognises the growth and success of the business over the last nine years where we have invested in both new technology and premises.
“We have developed the business from offering purely print in the beginning to now include graphic design, print, web design, e-commerce and marketing solutions to our clients.”
Despite the recession, the business has achieved two back to back record years.
Part of this, it says, is through recognising the ‘opportunities’ brought about through the recession not just in terms of competitive pricing, but also through working with clients to make sure they get the best return for their investment in terms of their print design and sales message.
In fact, the business has achieved year- on-year growth in the nine years that Mr Green has been at the helm.
Nigel Toplis, managing director of Kall Kwik UK, said: “Stewart Green has proved himself to be a serious business professional, growing his business by building and developing strong relationships with his customers based not only on offering quality products and first class service but, more importantly, on working closely with his customers, understanding their needs and offering a range of solutions based not simply on print but on a wide range of business services”
The award winner will be announced at the BAPC annual conference to be held later this month.
