Gardening club to host talk by Bob Flowerdew

Woolpit Gardening Club is hoping to attract new members by hosting a talk next month by organic gardener Bob Flowerdew.

Mr Flowerdew, who is also a television and radio presenter, will give the talk in Woolpit village hall, starting at 7.30pm on February 8.

Tickets to the event are priced at £10, or £5 for members with an annual club membership costing just £5.

Woolpit Gardening Club has members from Bury St Edmunds, Rattlesden and Stowmarket and is well known for its annual flower show, which will take place this year in September, and for its annual plant and flower sale.
