CHELSEA Flower Show gold medal winners Harveys Garden Plants will be holding Autumn open days next Friday and Saturday.

The nursery in Thurston will have its team of experts giving advice on cultivation and planting asscoiations while there will also be short Autumn Ablaze talks throughout the day about how to make the most of your garden this Autumn.

There will be more than 1,000 colourful plants on sale, while tea, coffee and lunch will be available in The Orchard Room.

The open days take place from 9.30am to 4.30pm and you can get a 10 per cent discount on plant sales by taking along a cutting of this article.
