Fund-raiser in memory of Cloé

Young fund-raisers at a Bury St Edmunds school amassed more than £200 for a cancer charity in memory of a mum who died last year.
Pupils at Abbots Green Primary sold scores of daffodils, which they had grown, to parents, grandparents and friends during a coffee morning in aid of Marie Curie.
The event was held in tribute to Cloé Gibney, who passed away aged 31 following a three year battle with cancer.
Children have also planted daffodil bulbs in a large garden bed with a specially designed plaque in memory of Miss Gibney, whose seven-year-old son Eddie attends the school.
Headteacher Heidi Franklin said: “People have gone to a huge amount of effort because Cloé was known by a lot of people in the town. It was appreciated by her family.”
