Fund-raiser gets cancelled

Disappointing ticket sales have resulted in a charity fund-raiser being cancelled.

A Clothes Swap and Ladies Night was due to take place in the Athenaeum, Bury St Edmunds, next Tuesday in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

But organisers say enthusiasm for the event did not translate into ticket sales and it has had to be cancelled.
